THE COLOURS OF THE GUITAR

New sounds and new colours

The Colours of the guitar has been created to bring to light the expressive ductility of the Guitar orchestra; the first part is dedicated to the contemporary composers while the second is dedicated to the transcription.

If the musicians of today are searching for unusual sound mainly exploring the percussive possibility of the guitar, the transcriptions exalt the guitar “camouflage” faculties, giving new colours to famous pieces of music originally conceived for other musical instruments.

Even in music the 1900 has been characterized by a huge variety of languages. The pieces of music we select for our concert; dance, new age and flamenco witness for it.

The transcriptions include music from Baroque to Spanish romanticism borrowing the keyboard instruments repertoire and readapted it to the guitar.
