Guido Muneratto

Guido Muneratto studied guitar with Paola Coppi and orchestra direction with Emilio Pomarico at the Milan Civica Scuola di Musica.
The experience acquired by participating to courses and concerts lead Guido Muneratto to elaborate his own distinctive way to ‘inhabit ‘music where the ensemble music and the need for a wider and informal approach to the guitar represent the relevant features.
He devoted himself both to the creation of a didactical literature and to the foundation of several camera and musical ensembles among which the Guitar Orchestra ‘Centocorde’ is the most famous.
He studies of ancient music, guitar literature deeply integrated with his faith in the Feldernkrais methods lead him to be requested as a teacher in various workshops, master classes and lesson-concerts.
He contributes to main important sector magazines and has also authored a wide collection of guitar transcriptions, arrangements and anthologies both for beginning and advanced guitarists commonly used by his colleagues.
